CAMBRIDGE, MA -- In a press release, Sermo announced the closing of a $9.5 million second round of funding. The company operates an online community at sermo.com that allows physicians to "share insights, learn from each other's experiences...and discuss how they can improve patient care." Softbank Capital led the new round, with additional funds from original investor Longworth Venture Partners. The company will use the funds to further develop the online community site.
